At end
of a presentation on baptism, Taylor, 3, wanted to sing "God Gives Us
Fire" (to “God Is So Good”). He stayed focused on work rest of morning (an
accomplishment for him.) Made a drawing of orange/red "fire"
(scribbly-looking) on large paper, then spent a long time coloring the map of
Israel all green. Overheard him telling Mom that the green was fire. Her
comment to the catechist (thinking she had a budding pyromaniac): "What's
with all this fire?!"
